Water transport

The city is home to one of the largest port complexes in the Baltic Sea Region - the Szczecin-Świnoujście Port.

Rail connections

​There are some railway connections to Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, among others. The most important railway lines run from the cargo terminal of the Świnoujście Port to Berlin, Vienna and Sofia, and on the route Hamburg – Berlin – West Pomerania – Gdańsk – Kaliningrad – St. Petersburg.
